  • This is the best game ever...

  • Chrono Trigger is an incredible take-off on the Final Fantasy style turn-based RPG play. Using positioning and area to effect your attacks, it adds a whole new level of strategy to an already amazing play system.

  • The reason this is made up of so much win is purely this:



    Chrono Trigger's development team included three designers that Square dubbed the "Dream Team", consisting of Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series, and Yuuji Horii and Akira Toriyama - two freelance designers known for their work on Enix's Dragon Quest series. Kazuhiko Aoki produced the game. Masato Kato (Ninja Gaiden, parts of FF7) wrote most of the plot, while composer Yasunori Mitsuda scored most of the game before falling ill and deferring remaining tracks to Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu (who is a god :P).

    Possibly one of my favourite games of all time, well worth playing, the plot is brilliant, the combat system excellent... you can tell this came out originally between final fantasy 6+7, this wouldn't look at all out of place labelled as one of the FF series and is (in my opinion) far superior to some of the FF games (I'm looking at you number 6...)
